I think it's about seemingly having a lot of wonderful things going on, with the parties and seeing people and having a great life, but thinking about it too much. and thinking to yourself everything will end badly anyway. What does it matter, being invited to parties? And seeing people, and dancing and laughing? Also, I think what brought on the psychotic over-analyzing was not having anything to wear. I picture the person sitting on there bed hysterical because they feel they have nothing suitable to wear. But obviously it turns into having a fit over much more. Basically about not being satisfied and knowing bad things are coming either way. With or without parties. Like nothing matters anyway. Saturday night it's all so great, and you wake up Sunday, alone, empty, and with nothing. |
