| Nikola Sarcevic – Love Is Trouble Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I think that the only way to fully appreciate this song is to be able to relate. I can definitely relate and that's not something I'm happy about. Solid tune. |

| Heathers – Fire Ants Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Awesome song. I love it and relate to it as well. | |
| Heathers – Remember When Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| These girls really are great... I love their guitar playing and voices. | |
| Linkin Park – Somewhere I Belong Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I love the line "I will never be anything till I break away from me." I think it symbolizes the fact that you are your only barrier in life. |

| Propagandhi – Human(e) Meat (The Flensing Of Sandor Katz) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
The beginning kinda makes you cringe a bit. I think the song's self explanatory... |
| Propagandhi – Night Letters Lyrics | 17 years ago |
To me, this song is about the choices you make in life - for better or for worse. Very technical instrumentally, I love it a lot. |
| Harvey Danger – War Buddies Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"If nobody tries too hard to kill you, I got your back." I like that line. I'm not really positive as to how it fits into this song as a whole. To me, it makes me come back to my belief that no one's ever really behind you and you can only always count on yourself. Sad to say but I think it's the truth. |

| Harvey Danger – Little Round Mirrors Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The person written about in this song reminds me of myself. I live in a town and general area where I am completely unmotivated most of the time, where I don't enjoy many people or things. I believe in the psychology that states that your environment truly effects you mentally and emotionally. This is a great fucking song, very relatable in my opinion. | |
| Harvey Danger – Moral Centralia Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Centralia seems to be a metaphor for more than just Washington residents within THESE borders. | |
| Harvey Danger – Wine, Women, and Song Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Very well put. I've actually lived an instance a bit like this, I can relate a bit... unfortunately. | |
| Against Me! – Tonight We're Gonna Give It 35% Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of my all-time favorite songs. Every time I hear this song I get teary eyed (obviously because of what's happened to Against Me! and the route they decided to take). I get chills and an odd sensation that, even though they're not the same band, there are still people out there to relate to -- people who will listen to and understand you. I believe that the line "I can't believe how naive I was to think things could ever be so simple" is closely tied in with the line "If you'd told me about all this when I was 15 I never would have believed it." I guess it's much easier to stick to your ethics and beliefs at a younger age due to the fact that there is not much else to care for but yourself. Still, they went to complete shit and it's honestly a huge shame. | |
| The Subways – All or Nothing Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Upbeat tempo and chords but not such upbeat lyrics. This song has a different meaning from person to person, for me -- it reminds me of a girl I didn't ever date and have always wanted to. She's a moron though and it just won't happen. |
| Mötley Crüe – Face Down In The Dirt Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I know it's typical and whatever, but this is awesome: I wanna make a lotta money But i don't wanna go to school I don't wanna get a real job I don't wanna be you |
| Goldfinger – Handjobs for Jesus Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song is fucking sick! All of you who are taking this personally, it wasn't written for you. Stop being a bunch of pussies. Others shouldn't be able to express themselves (their views, thoughts, beliefs, etc.) because you find it insulting? Great. Why don't we just abolish music so that people like you won't have shit to fucking complain about? Sound good? Goldfinger are amazing and I absolutely love this song. |

| The New Amsterdams – Wait Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love this song. To me it means that there are no certainties. ... and I can't believe no one else has commented on it. |
| Kevin Devine – Ballgame Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Interpreting this song as one about alcoholism is too simple and shallow-minded. That's my thought. To me, it's more about the things that make you drink and commit self-harm in the first place - such as war, for example. Amazing fucking song. I love this guy. |
| Kevin Devine – Longer That I'm Out Here Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I am able to relate to the emotions and feelings throughout this song very well. ... I wish that wasn't the truth. |
| Killradio – Classroom Blues Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I agree with asleeponasunbeam. The American public is constantly being spoon-fed bullshit and accepting it as the truth, no questions asked. |

| How the fuck are the vocals uneven? I think this band's really awesome, vocals rock in my opinion. | |

| Against Me! – Tonight We're Gonna Give It 35% Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Tonight I saw Against Me! play at a smaller venue called the Metro here in Chicago. It was an all-acoustic set. Against Me! is and has been my favorite band for a while. They played an acoustic set benefiting the Harvest of Hope Foundation. They pretty much fucked their own new album up the ass. A lot of the set was just Tom or Tom accompanied only by Andrew. Furthermore, the new shit banner that they've been using since "New Wave" came out was not let down for this show. They performed a lot of their old songs including this song, "Tonight We're Gonna Give It 35%". The part of this song where Tom says: "And can you live with what you know about yourself, when you're all alone, behind closed doors? The things we never said but we always knew were right there. It's got me on my knees in a bathroom, praying to a god that I don't even believe in, "Dear Jesus... are you listening?" was nothing short of motherfucking incredible. Here I was, getting beaten the fuck up, pushed, punched and kicked from every direction with a thousand other people screaming at the top of their lungs and I hadn't ever felt better. If you don't get this yet, "T.W.G.G.I. 35%" is my favorite song by AM! |

| Against Me! – The Ocean Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| this song sucks. | |
| Against Me! – Borne on the FM Waves of the Heart Lyrics | 18 years ago |
arms of lary - you're a motherfucking idiot. |
| Alkaline Trio – Cop Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Everyone needs to stop posting their meaningless bullshit and thoughts like this is some kind of a god damn bulletin board. This song is righteous, end of story. P.S. Cops fucking suck. |
| A Wilhelm Scream – I Wipe My Ass With Showbiz Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This song is clearly about compromising yourself or conforming to something when you think you have to make ends meet. "You dance with the man, shake his hand, shine his shoes." ... way to be a kiss ass, in other words. 99% of people can't stand their boss at work - I think this line is about pretending you like him or her and basically doing what you're told and in the end you're only helping them and feeding their ego while you devalue yourself. |
