I love this song. I heard them for the first time at a live show when they came to the US. They are amazing.

I think this song is about two close friends or maybe lovers, who never known each other for a very long time and are very close but they are now having arguments and starting to drift apart.
I love this line "And still you laugh at me. Why?" I think it's indicating the betrayal she feels. She's come on hard times and her friend is laughing at her. So she is saying, "After all we've been through, how could you do that to me?"
