I love how her voice is so much! :] To me, I think the song is to all the people who have put her down, falsely accused her, or have just done horrible things to her. This is just saying how none of the things they'll do to her can break her. She can't be broken because she has the aid of God with her. My point of view. Oh, I just love this song! :] And most of their songs. I think this song is about life pulling you away from the one you love. It starts as something good and they're just taking things as they are, but then something happens that causes them to separate (like this song sounds like the singer is moving away). He believes that things will work out in their favor, but deep inside, he's scared of what could really happen. The reality is that he has no choice. So I see this as him objecting to whatever he's being forced to go away to, so that he can stay with the one he loves. My thinking is kinda messed up right now, so this may be off :] |

I really love this song, and, really, all of Kate Voegele's songs! To me, this is about a couple whose relationship is fine, until along comes a girl who really likes the guy and will use any tactic to steal him away from his lover. She plays the victim, telling lies to get to his soft side and to move closer to him. The girl he's with is just sick of this. She talks to him about it, but he doesnt think anything of it and only insists that it means nothing at all, where infact it means everything. She is (again) just sick of it and is saying that if he keeps it up, she's going to flat out leave him. Personal experience. It sucks on ice. |

I absolutely LOVE this song. :] The spoken parts make me think of the spoken part in Zero by Hawk Nelson. It just sounds like the same voice for some reaosn. Well, besides that, I think this song is about being let down AGAIN by someone very close that you expected something from. You knew that it wouldn't work out a second time, but you tried again anyways to only come out worse off than when you got into it. But it wasn't a surprise to you; stupidity probably got the better of you to trust them. |

This is exactly what happened to me... o.o So down to the details it's scary... I kept a love relationship a secret to alot of my friends for about a month, and so did the guy in this. It was kind of funny really... me and him would sneak kisses after school when no one was around. :] We were the best of friends before getting together, and we're still pretty close. Well... let's just say people found out and it was all just ruined. It was pretty cute, but I was very hurt when we were over. :/ I could still think of this as the present-time song for me and him. |
