The lyrics talk about dying in various ways, hanging (as the above user mentioned), drowning, slicing veins. I'm not sure what the song is trying to say though. My best guess is that a person wants to die so he/she can know what is after this life, hence "Beyond those cursed stars above lies the answer that I seek." |

Basically a man works at a hospital. He loves his job, but for more than just the pay. The lyrics mention this man laying in the beds of the dead, loving the "hospital smell", raping coma patients, and taking pictures of wounds. One part implies that he likes to watch people die because he knows death is near.
Another very well-written song by The Black Dahlia Murder. I can't get enough of these absolutely ridiculous lyrics, lol. |
