It's like The Noisettes are just one giant musical, every song is so different but so catchy, with big lyrics and exciting melodies that make you want to get up and dance!!! And how would you dance to this song? You could boogie down, waltz, pop, rave... it's just so diverse! The possibilities are endless! I can't wait for the album! |

Actually maxim they say Mansard roof "through" the trees, not in them. As it's been stated already, a mansard roof is an old fashion victorian kind of roof used to show attic space. I was sure it was somewhere by the seaside from the "salty" message, but it could pertain to an older run down neighborhood because he also sees the tops of buildings after awhile. Honestly, I think it's about New Jersey (it's ok, I'm from NJ) because they're there in the video, and they talk about "garbage and concrete". Since the band is from NY, they're probably making some witty humor about it, which I appreciate. |

Dude, this song has nothing to do with a dog. It's not 'labradour' it's 'troubador', and that's the way it was meant to be written. This song is about breaking free and going wild. "She's a caged animal, London by night, crashing lights and symbols, queens of twilight.' I always thought of sister rosetta as like a nun, who didn't act very much like one, and the congregation was like the one in a church. It's a bit unclear, but the song rocks! >:D |

this song does have a lot to do with the plaent earth, and the environment. I don't get a very clear message from it, but it's one kickass song! I can't beleive it's only a filler, it's one of the best on the album. |

This is my new favorite song [hence the name]. I think he is talking about how after they broke up, she's been living this wonderful happy new life, while he's been miserable, and can't stop thinking about her. It's so sad, but such a beautiful song. I love the way Gary writes, it's pure poetry. |
