For the longest time I thought Kate Bush was saying "she's so popular" instead of "jeux sans frontieres" and I couldn't figure out how it connected to the song. At least I finally figured it out lol. |

This song was recorded "in 1973 on a sunny afternoon at Dave (Gilmour)'s." (this song was a b-side for Army Dreamers, and that's what it says on the 7" single sleeve) So it's really old, recorded when Kate was only fifteen, I guess. I reaaally like it, it's cute :) |

Actually, I saw an interview where Kate talked about what the glass shattering sound was in the song, and it's the wife, in a fit of anger at her husband responding to "Babooshka"'s advances, throwing a glass/cutlery/whatever she could find at the husband. That was Kate's explanation for it. |
