Passing Through Air Lyrics

Passing through air.
You mix the stars with your arms.
Walking through there.
The doom of eternity balms.
Skies of grey are not today.

Oh! Don't you throw my love away,
I need your loving, I need your loving.
Oh! Don't you pour down rain today,
I need your love, I need your care
So much, so much, so much!

Laughing through smiles.
You lick my love with the years.
Walking for miles.
You cool my brow with your tears.
Skies of grey are not today.

Oh! Don't you throw my love away,
I need your loving, I need your loving.
Oh! Don't you pour down rain today,
I need your love, I need your care
So much, so much, so much!

Oh! Don't you throw my love away,
I need your loving, I need your loving.
Oh! Don't you pour down rain today,
I need your loving, I need your loving.

Oh! Don't you throw my love away,
I need your loving, I need your loving.
Oh! Don't you pour down rain today,
I need your loving, I need your loving.

This is almost childlike in it's simplicity.

It's beautiful.

This song was recorded "in 1973 on a sunny afternoon at Dave (Gilmour)'s." (this song was a b-side for Army Dreamers, and that's what it says on the 7" single sleeve) So it's really old, recorded when Kate was only fifteen, I guess. I reaaally like it, it's cute :)

^ I'm amazed that it was recorded when she was 15.

This song is wonderful. I just discovered it and I feel like crying when I hear it. Makes me think of someone special.

Lots of references to clouds, rain and the sky - like many of her other songs

"You cool my brow with your tears. Skies of grey are not today."

"Oh! Don't you pour down rain today, I need your loving, I need your loving."

"Skies of grey are not today"
