i enjoy the line 'Capsaicinoids are a thing to avoid
Unless you want to burn in that roid'
I think milo is a biochemist so he might have experience in that stuff.

Social Distortion – Bad Luck Lyrics

I get this song as bad luck and bad things are a part of life. Some people choose to put too much meaning into their bad luck that they live in fear and superstition; whereas Mike ness just decides to 'keep on keeping on' |

The Weakerthans – Relative Surplus Value Lyrics

this song has a good groove to it.
song sounds like he's in town on business, of an old flame or friend. he goes to this business meeting that pretty much says the company he works for just went under and he has no job. as a result he wants to see his old friend but feels weird asking out of nowhere. |

Sundowner – Endless Miles Lyrics

i like this song. it reminds me of days when you're unemployed and everyone else is at work and you're at home feeling alone, bored and depressed. But then you go out on the town and just wander around. that freedom makes everything seem all right. |

Guttermouth – Secure Horizons Lyrics

i love the line 'invested in the good times'
pretty much sounded like when they prefered to party, but just to save for the future you have to deal with all the bullshit in the markets, but as you get older you realize it's necessary.
or in gutter mouth fashion they're mocking people who get caught up in that and prefer to invest in the good times. |

Paramore – Born for This Lyrics

this is some awesome pop, but with the refused line in there makes them legit.
i'm just surprised refused let them use it? or was it burning heart/epitaph that did? |

The Lawrence Arms – Boatless Booze Cruise (Part 1) Lyrics

What this seems to me is that after the hurt of a failed relationship, he still likes the girl and wants to respect her, thus when he shows up at her door he'll sleep on her floor instead of trying to get into bed? |

The Lawrence Arms – Brickwall Views Lyrics

Yea i pretty much agree with the consensus. I have that feelling a lot when i see old friends and you have nothing to talk about because you haven't been talking to each other as often as you used to. the last line expresses that. it's an empty feeling when you think about how you used to get along so well. "catching up" sucks because you're just finding out what they've been doing, not sharing interests. |
