Anti-Flag – Go West Lyrics 17 years ago
whenever i listen to this song, i am always reminded of The Grapes of Wrath.

Could be about going west to California to fulfill ones dreams, but end up not getting what you expected.

Anti-Flag – This Is The End (For You My Friend) Lyrics 18 years ago
we all need to grow in life and move on to the next level. for some people, growing is getting that big bonus at work and becoming C.E.O.
for anti-flag, or any musician, growing in their life is moving on to the next level of their life and get signed by a bigger label.

i guess that is what i'm saying in some cosmic way.

Anti-Flag – This Is The End (For You My Friend) Lyrics 18 years ago
"they sold out by going from a independent label, to a major label for more money, hence the name sell out"

i hate the word "sell out." grow up. musicians need to progress too. they need to pay bills too ya know. they can't expect people to hear their music if they don't acquire some fame. this way, their message is getting out to more people. isn't that what anti-flag is about? getting their message out to america? they have such a powerful message, it SHOULD be heard by more people. even if is is some 12 year old fan of limp bizkit. they are hearing music with PASSION, with LIFE, with PURPOSE. maybe, anti-flag will open them up to the world, and how many lies they've been told for years.

i like to think of it this way. i was in high school, then i went to college. college made me grow more, made me open my eyes and myself to real issues in the world. anti-flag is just growing life myself. nobody should stop learning, learning is an exhilirating experience. we must grow to the next level to keep learning, and re-evaluting ourselves. anti-flag is just growing, learning, and self-evaluting themselves by MOVING up in the music industry.

maybe that didn't make sense in words. it makes sense to me though.

Anti-Flag – Hymn For The Dead Lyrics 18 years ago
the only way everyone is going to be equal is, in fact, death.

when you think about that, it's a really powerful statement.

we must speak out. everyone has their own voice in society. we must change. it takes the people to do such a notion.

extremely motivating song.

Anti-Flag – The School Of Assassins Lyrics 18 years ago
this is why i love anti-flag -- they speak of what is really going on in the world.
i am a college student; my mind is always being opened to new things, and i am always reinventing my beliefs.
honestly, i never new such a terrible thing was going on. thus, i love anti-flag for showing me. and in doing so, i am able to evalute it myself and not just follow their own beliefs.
so thank you to the people who told me what this song was really about -- i always wanted to know.
it makes me more eager to learn more about this ugly world.

Anti-Flag – One Trillion Dollars Lyrics 18 years ago
ok so the music in this song is different from what anti-flag has been doing-- so what?
the lyrics are great. i don't think an 8 year old could write this song. if one did - it wouldn't have the same meaning. it's so bitter towards the world, i love it.
and for all of those people saying anti-flag sold out -- shut up. seriously. i hate when people say bands "sell out." do you even appreciate how much this band has opened peoples eyes? do you even appreciate that they sing about IMPORTANT events in this world? do you appreciate that they aren't writing songs about their girlfriends dumping them? anti-flag is an amazing band. they make people push their beliefs more and question their beliefs -- even if they don't believe the notions that anti-flag speaks of. their music makes people QUESTION. and that would music should be about.
