Finding your dreams in animal scenes down at the nightclub She's got appeal, I like what I feel yeah, I'm going to lose it Do what you want, and do it again I wanted a change of blew it again Well I didn't mean to, try and deceive you, now I'm feeling so ugly Yes I hurt you, baby I love you, and I want you to come home now I always try to walk the line, but I couldn't see it So many times, you said you'd leave, but I didn't believe it I know what I want, and can't explain I blew it again, I blew it again Well I didn't mean to, try and deceive you, now I'm feeling so ugly Yes I hurt you, baby I love you, and I want you to come home now aside from waiting, I could take you home, but hanging on I’ll never know Well I didn't mean to, try and deceive you, now I'm feeling so ugly Yes I hurt you, baby I love you, and I want you to come home now |

| Supergrass – Tales Of Endurance (Parts 4, 5 & 6) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Making sense of what I've heard And what is on my mind Don't look down cause it's far to fall Count the hours, face the fear It's haunting me these days We're past the post and through the door Hail, commercial suicide Kiss the life you left behind Don't let it bother you You do what it takes to get what you can Last night I thought about Another life and what I'd do It's hanging over me I'm sure to break your loving heart I'm dying to take a walk Down this sugar coated sonic path Cause I've been hanging around for hours, staring at your hologram, Standing on your holy ground Outside a northern harbour Digging up the harder times I might have known that you'd been Tearing up the photographs Lost sight of all I've done Picking round for higher ground Guests out in paradise With China dolls and better times The satellite is always overhead It's watching you You know it's living hell I'm solid gone, coming for no-one, no-one, no-one. |

| The Beatles – I've Got a Feeling Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I've been a beatles fan for a while now but I hadn't heard this song until I heard a cover of it by the Real People, and I was astonished of how much they sounded like the beatles lol. | |
| Oasis – Lord Don't Slow Me Down Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| For once I actually like the version with Liam singing better. | |
| Graham Coxon – Ribbons And Leaves Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song just reminds me of Paul Weller for some reason. | |
| Big Star – Femme Fatale Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Love this version, I sctuslly like it better than the Velvet Underground original | |
| Blur – Tracy Jacks Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I can't help but picturing someone going through a mid-life crisis when I hear this song. Tracy is 40 in this song. | |
| The Stone Roses – Tightrope Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song is amazing! Only thing I don't fully understand is the triptych angel bit, any insight on that? | |
| Oasis – Keep the Dream Alive Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| To me this song is about wanting something or someone and the only time you can actually be with them is when you are dreaming and when you wake up in the morning you realize you are not with them but you never give up trying to be with them...keeping the dream alive. And the no stranger to this place bit makes me think that this person has been going through this for quite some time that they are almost used to it but not willing to accept that things may be different someday. | |
| Blur – Battery in Your Leg Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| What does the whole "put a bettery in your leg refer to"? And I have heard rumors about Graham coming back to make one more album supposedly in November once TGTBTQ are done touring I can only hope its true. | |
| Blur – Coffee & TV Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| To me this song is about a city person who is living the 'rock star' life of heavy drinking and partying finally wanting to just get married and settle down in the country. I think the line "theres people there who will hurt you because of who you are" is a good example of a city person going to the country along with the sociability part. It was also around this time of making the 13 album that graham started to try and stop drinking so I think this song is about him wanting to stop be a 'rock star' figure and wanting a much more simpler life and probably the reason he ended up leaving Blur. | |
| Blur – End of a Century Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Kankurou you are absolutley correct! Blur did do very well coping with the end of Britpop didn't they? | |
| Blur – Sweet Song Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
"Our lives on T.V. You switch off and try to sleep" To me this is about Damon upset about losing Graham also the "I didn't mean to hurt you" bit makes me think that as well. Although it was never confirmed whether Graham left the band at his own will or not I think this song is definatley about Damon and Graham. It is a beutiful song none the less! |
|
| Blur – Beetlebum Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Yes this song is about heroine influenced by Damon's girlfriend from Elastica who at the time was a habitual user. It probably was also influenced somewhat by Damon's drug abuse problems although he didn't do heroine. The word Beetlebum has nothing to do with Oasis. | |
| Blur – Song 2 Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think it is ironic that this is the only song to gain popularity in America. Everyone I talk to says Blur only has one good song and that's Song 2. The funny part is that this song was made to make fun of American music hence to pointless lyrics and strange video. It is all poking fun at the American alt. rock music. I just laugh when people listen to this song and cringe at every other song they made. Typical shallow minded Americans. | |
| Blur – Crazy Beat Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song was just an attempt to make a quick hit trying to replicate the unexpected success of Song 2 and Damon himself said he wish he never made this song. Maybe it was out of desperation after losing Graham I dunno? | |
