i agree with accidental messiah.. its a big metaphor.. the conductor being the marriage conselor "stood up and took role call" made sure both husband and wife were there.. "he sent love and happiness into the next car" he was trying to help them renew their love for the future.. "the bags are in and we plan no stops" basically they were gonna see it through til the end.. "just fearing sleeping in the box" usually through counsenling the two are seperated, and the box possibly being a own room hotel room |

well "woke up late on that sunday morning" usually people party on friday and saturday and i know when i used to party and do drugs i would wake up very late on sundays... then "theres a needle hungry for a place to sleep" kinda obvious.. and gravel laced sunsets foaming in my belly.. usually when you go to the hospital and they think you've overdosed on something, they use charcoal gravel, and i can see why he said "sunsets" cause he was probably pretty fucked up at the time haha |
