this song is sooo good. i can listen to it over and over again.
i think its about the end of a relationship when you realize that you were so stifled and oppressed by the relationship. you had sacrificed so much for it that you could barely support yourself by the end of it. |

the first time i heard this song i got chills because it describes the relationship that i am in perfectly.
you realize the person is not right for you but for some reason you can't help but wanting to be with them. so you stay in a relationship that is basically a joke against your better judgment. |

this is definitely more solo jenny lewis than rilo kiley.
