I agree with everyone about the sex, obviously. But like some have said, it sounds like he has feelings but goes on with the "no-strings" thing. Because he "just wants her attention," even if that means he gets hurt since his feelings are involved. The solo in the middle is intense :) |

I love underoath. That being said, I really don't like their really old stuff. I suppose their sound is completely different due to the change in singer and whatnot. I can still appreciate the lyrics, but not the actual song so much. |

this is completely different from what anyone's said...but when i hear some parts of this song i always think of my dad's death or just death in general... "I still see your shadow but never your face again I remember your presence. I hope to God you came down. I hope to God you can feel this now." Idk. It's a stretch. |

This may be way off, as I tend to interpret things differently than a lot of people...but I kind of see it as a guy and his parents...like he's trying to make them proud like it says in the song and then at the end it's saying that it's his life and that he's not gonna let them control it anymore? I don't know. Just a thought. :) |
