| Emarosa – I Still Feel Her: Part I Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Real lyrics, from the book: Now I'm passing every street light with ease The street signs are much to dark to even pretend I've been here before Where is your hand to guide me, close by mine? Not a dead end No, not this This road goes for miles with no sign with no sign Will she be waiting to pull me off to the side? Will she be waiting to pull me off to the side? Lost in a one track mind Stalking the chance to take us alive Lost in a one track mind Stalking the chance to take us alive She can't be much further, as the daydie The sun fades into my eyes She floats around inside my empty head Searching for... Her touch still moves my hair The smell is so faint But it must be the one My bones ache from the cold No one could predict that I would ever get this far (For so long) Do I have the strength to go on? Snow begins to fill my hair But still I press on Her touch still moves my hair The smell is so faint But it must be the one My bones ache from the cold Her touch still moves my hair My bones ache from the cold No one could predict that I would ever get this far (For so long) Shes waiting Shes waiting Shes waiting I feel her Shes waiting |

It's actually called Missing (Serravalle). It's an amazing song, all the profits from the sales of it went to the charity that Ralph Serravalle started. |

This with I Still Feel Her: Part I are my two favourite songs off the album. I think they are about a man who is running to find a girl he loves to save her from inside fire but I don't think it's in a building. A forest fire maybe? (First few quotes are from I Still Feel Her) "When does the moonlight end The smell is so faint But it must be the one" Maybe the smell is the smoke from the fire? "Do I have the strength To go on Smoke begins to fill my head But still I press on" I think this is when he has gone into the building and is looking for her as the smoke is all around him but he is battling to carry on. "Shes waiting Shes waiting Shes waiting I feel her Shes waiting" He knows she is in there somewhere waiting as he can "feel her". "Cling to each rock The wind is not on our side Not on our side Not on our side Pull yourself together its not much further" This carries on from the end of I Still Feel Her, it's him battling to find her but it seems like everything is trying to get in his way. Or maybe when he mentions the wind he means that it is making the fire more intense. This bit makes me think it's not a fire in a building as it mentions clinging to each rock as if he is climbing somehwere. "The smoke is finding its way to the sky Not a place I want to be Not a place that I want to be She sits pale skinned in a fire light" This is the bit that most hints at a fire. He has found her in the fire and she sits 'pale sninned' in the firelight because she is scared? "One message to change her mind One message to change her life forever One message to change her mind" I think this means that he has not told the girl he loves her yet or something. "He climbs over the top No breath No breath In his weak sick lungs, She starts to run to the edge at last it's over" This bit also hints at it being a forest fire or something. This is when he finds her and she runs to him. "She lays beside him His eyes so weak He can't even make her out But his body feels good All around him" In this bit her has found her and they are lying together. His eyes are weak because of the smoke but even though there are in a terrible situation, his body feels good because he is with her. "She whispers something in his ear That he takes to the grave To the grave, And now" Maybe she tell him she loves him too and then they die together? "Hours pass before they reach the top, before they reach the top." Before they reach heaven? Not too sure. Anyway, it's an amazing song. That's what I think but I could be wrong. |

I love this song, definitely the best on the CD. The whole album is alot different compared to Sometimes. It's taken me a few listens of it to get used to it but it's grew on me alot. I agree with Starebot about the meeaning, sound like insomnia/depression. |
