i think this song is about a relationship where both of them have doubts, but shes saying, i know if we stay together its going to save us, so im not giving up and im not letting you do that either. this is my favorite song lyrically on the cd. its a great song about keeping strong and not giving up because of something stupid. i loveeee it. =] |

i think the rain is a symbol for something that is making their friend/boyfriend, upset and depressed. and when it rains, everyone can feel it, the hurt. i also think its causing their relationship to fail, and "I never saw it coming. how could you do it?" either means he cheated, he commited suicide or something like that, or he quickly ended the relationship for no reason. this is one of my favorite songs on the allbumm. |

let me be the FIRST to say this song makes my life. it so reminds me of my amazing boyfriend and i. he will piss me off so bad, yet there is so much love, that i forget in about 5 minutes. | i think this is a song with a whole bunch of different parts of her life in it. the first verse, i agree is in a clinic and because shes so young shes being stared at. and the "winter just wasnt my season" is just saying how the guy just wasnt the one, seasons change, and so did the girl and her feelings. the part with the guy in the millitary is just from another entry in her diary hence.
