Out of the Blue

This song is sad, and even though it's obvious, I'm going to say what I think it means.

A girl (or even a boy) likes this boy, and he, I'm guessing, feels the same way. They were together until people told the boy that they weren't meant to be together, that she was wrong for him. After the boy hears this, he suddenly breaks it off with the girl and pushes her away. She wants him back, obviously, but he just keeps distancing himself from her.

The message that I think this song is trying to give out is to love who you WANT to love, not who people think you should. Which is, of course, true in every way. =)

It's a very strong song, refering to relationships that are forbidden, like a jock dating a nerd, I can realte strongly with the guy I like.

this has to be one of my favourite songs by them! i agree with indee girl, coz shes saying how they are in love, and he's scared about what evry1 will say, because he's heard people think they shouldnt be together, and she's saying she should get over him, and she has no choice, because hes afraid to say what he feels, but she loves him too much to let go

It is very obvious what this song mean but still, I must comment. This is about a relationship where there is nothing wrong between the two people in the relationship, but still everyone in their lives is keeping them apart, be it parents, or friends or what. They are saying that they have no choice, they have to obey the rules and stay apart. But then at the very end when they sings when "love makes the choice, it has a voice" they are saying that the people in the relationship decided that they are meant to be together so they will stay together no mater what everyone else says.

oh yeah, and I am pretty sure that it says "Out of the blue THEY said we couldn't be together." Cause those are the lyrics that came with the cd. Which is why I don't think that he ended the relationship. I think it is just other people, as I said above.

"when love makes a choice, it has a voice" this is one of my favorite lines, and i think along with everyone else, that their friends dissapproved of the relationship. and the boy, feeling he needed to keep his guys, went along and ended it, not really explaining. she wants him back, she doesnt want to have to get over him. i loveeee it . =]

I don't know if someone has already said this, but... These lines should read:

"Just wanna hear what you've got to say Are you feeling the same Cause I'm not okay Thought when we met there was something more But the other's said no, they shut the door"
