Its simple, that the song is asking if the god they believe in comes in a capsule or a plate, referencing the drug useage of religions since time began. From here, it just lists all the drugs that the government wants to ban, due to the psychedelic properties, like DMT. This song is basically about the large collection of drugs the user has in order to escape. Its all about escaping to him, to be dead on the outside, but in his mind, in his own conscious, to be entirely alive and experiencing all the chemicals in his system. To all the religious people, Escapism is a method of religious experience. Indians and other religions have been taking drugs since the stone age, and its only when Christianity, among other religions on the same lines, attempted to look better than others due to the lack of drug useage, is when it becomes a candid idea. Escapism is a reality, To be alive is to be dead on the inside. The drugs described in this song all have some kind of element that livens up the experience. Like Maynard James Keenan said once. "The trick is to take the drugs once, then spend the next 10 years of your life trying to get back to that high without the drug." |

To me, the song reflects the anger that one feels after being betrayed by someone they have cared about, either on an emotional spectrum, or honor-wise. The line that stands out, however: " I'll always be your shadow", leads me to believe that the pain is reminiscent of never being good enough to amount to that person's expectations, and the perspective and emotion reflects the anger and the resentment one could feel from that, as they "Bleed and strip" That person of their infinite light (Ain Soph Aur), in other words, their pride. |

I agree with the suicide part, The song leaves bits and pieces to tell the story. It does resemble a relationship, the forest, and the video makes it a lot clearer. Suicide sometimes seems like the last option when you've lost the one you've truly loved, and you cannot feel like you can go on without their guidance, or their comfort. And because of this, Ending your life seems like a good way to stop the feeling of want. |

Its not because they wanted to get around the censors, they're just that into their music. I'd swear too, if the drums were beating in my head like that. This is a really driving beat. The guitar, bass, synth, the drums, all of it is a collective explosion of anger and frustration and stress. The album isn't parental advisory, because theres a certain number of times you can say a certain word before they slap the sticker on it. On average, you can only say "Fuck" twice, Shit 4 times, God damn about 8-9 times. Everything else is once or twice. Thats how their rules work.
