| Being restricted from, or by something, perhaps? | |
| Mastodon – Trilobite Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Ddadutta's explination has a ring of correctness... | |
| Mastodon – Hail to Fire Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I've never heard the demo, so I wouldn't know about the intro... But this is one of the few Mastodon songs I can't muster up some sort of meaning about. D= | |
| Mastodon – Deep Sea Creature Lyrics | 18 years ago |

It sounds like that a person bullied, or antagonized a person so much that that the other person beacame their worst enemy. "You built me I knew it I'll never lie liar You fed me I chewed it I'll never lie liar" The song seems to be from the view poit of the bullied person. That's just the idea I get from it. As for the title, I have no idea. But it's cool as hell. |

| Mastodon – Welcoming War Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Seems simple enough. Just about war. I can't see some deeper meaning. | |
| Mastodon – We Built This Come Death Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Ddadutta, I'll agree that the lyrics on the demo/Call of Mastodon are harder to make out, but the lyrics on Remission make a hell of a lot more sense. Anyways, I think that this song is about how much work is a pain, and no one likes to do it. But, society kind of built itself around hard work and labor (look at the title and it makes sense). |
