| Blindside – Thought Like Flames Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Capitalize the 'g' in God. Sheba and buddha are gods. Jehova is God. And it sounds like he's saying "not every thought you feel will turn into flames!" | |
| Switchfoot – You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| In the lyircs if the song is talking about God. The 'you's' should always be 'You.' You need to correct that, if indeed the song is about God. | |
| Blindside – My Mother's Only Son Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I agree with jollyradar, and I too can relate. But it's obvious when he says 'So why don't I have the guts to tell you he's me?' that it's him he's talking about. | |

| You've got the capitalizing right, but you're still missing some lyrics in there. | |
| Blindside – All of Us Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I don't know how I didn't catch Incy before. I would call you a retard right back, but I'm not going to, 'cause I'm Christian. Not every band directs their own videos. So, the director may have interpreted it that way, but did Christian Landskog mean that? Another thing, if you look at the 'You' in the second line of the verse, you see it's capitalized. That means it's referring to God, or Jesus. Bad thing is the guy who typed out the lyrics didn't keep it stable, and instead got lazy I guess. Or that's the way they meant. But it's referring to God, Jesus, and Christianity after that, like 'old word.' | |

| Hey, this is actually still wrong. Whenever God is the one being talked about, 'you' should ALWAYS be 'You.' 'Cause then it sounds like the song is talking about a human, but it's really not. So, just remember capitalize 'you', or 'him' when the subject is God. | |
| Blindside – The Great Depression Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
We are the sons and daughters of a revolution Revolutionaries walking us out of oppression and into a no-law promised land Where there is no right or wrong [Pretty clear. It means We, the sons and daughters, need to get people out of opression or sin, and into the clear path of light that leads to Heaven. Or it could be talking about the bands trip to Africa, where they got people to accept Jesus.] And this leaves us with a great sense of sadness growing inside our soul No one can explain where it's coming from Or where it's taking us We just know that something is lost That somehow we are lost And this, my friend, is the great depression [When you think of how many people are lost, it leaves you feeling sad.] |

| All Christian bands are cool. DC Talk was awesome, Blindside's awesome. TobyMac's awesome. Kutless is awesome. P.O.D.'s awesome. They're all awesome, as long as their playing, and singing about and for, God and Jesus. They're all awesome. | |
| Toby Mac – Made To Love You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Or How he was made to love Jesus. Not only Jesus, but each other as well. It's a very good song, it's overplayed, but I haven't gotten tired of it. I love that song, it preaches a good message. |

| I never believed this band was Christian, until I heard this song. It's way too obvious with this song!!! I think it's dumb that so many people choose to ignore Christian Music. There are really talented Artists, that sing positive messages. I mean it's bad for us to listen to secular music, but how's it bad to listen to Christian Music??? And don't use that stupid excuse, "We don't agree with their belief." 'Cause when I was in the first few months of just recently being converted, I listened to Metallica, Muse(Atheists), Adema (The drummer, I believe is the only Christian in the band. Don't believe it check his myspace, http://www.myspace.com/kriskohls), Arash (Hindu-Pop Sensation), Bloodhound Gang, Disturbed (Jews), Evanescence (Thought to be Christians, but quite the opposite), Hoobastank (Anti-Religious), Iron Maiden, RHCP, SOAD, Tool. Different religious views, you can't say I don't agree with their religion, that's why I don't listen to them. I don't agree with the religion of those bands I listed, and I didn't before I was converted as well, but did that stop me from listening to them, No. It's no excuse! | |
| Switchfoot – Daisy Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| "Open Up your fists" Goes with the whole let go of this world. It makes sense, 'cause alot of people step into churches and they just go in, 'cause they're forced to and stuff. And so they go in with sort of a bad attitude but more like a hardened heart. So, basically before they even go to the church they already decided I'm gonna stand firm where I am. And so he's saying open up your fists, saying like everyone else is saying let it go. Another way of saying open up your heart. | |
| Blindside – All of Us Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This one's directed at MudvayneMethod. Not much to say, just Creed had Christian beliefs. But did they all have the Character of a Christian, no. Scott Stapp is a drunky, he puts a bad rep. on Christians. Just like alot of them do. Ok now with the song. You could look at it two ways, 1. Christian point of view, it makes complete sense. 2. Relationships, it makes sense also. But now who do Christians have a relationship with? God. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Ya'll are right though, it's about a relationship. Now the chorus, it states alot of truth, for himself and for others as well. All of us at some point go through a hard time, or depression, and we feel like crap. Some people look for someone to make us feel better, and get back up on our feet, but we don't find them, or we get ignored, so they feel even worse. He's saying it's a shame how he curls up in the dark because people ignored him, and didn't give him that open arm. But when he gets that low, God is the one to help him back on his feet. | |
