| Go Radio – The Truth Is Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| this song is just... I don't even have words. It's incredible. I can't wait for the day when I dance to this song with the man I love, knowing that forever will he will be my something else | |
| Red – Not Alone Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
Red never ceases to amaze me. Every album of theirs has had at least one song on it that just hits me. The words, the music, every part of this song speaks to my soul, it's beautiful. Just one thing I thought I heard differently, I thought the end of this line: "And I will pick you up when your whole world's ending" said 'when your whole world shatters', but I wasn't sure. Either way, this song is incredible. The imagery of being wrapped in arms of comfort brings peace and joy to my heart. I can't even describe how much I needed this song right now. Red's done it again. |

| Revive – Blink Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
second verse goes like this when it's all said and done no one remembers how far we have run the only thing that matters is how we have loved I don't want to miss even just a second more of this I think basically the song is just about how fast life goes, even when we don't really want it to. What have we done with our lives? Do we appreciate everything we've had and the people we've loved? We can't slow things down or stop time, but we can make the most of the time we have. I love this song. So much. |
|
| Coldplay – Fix You Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
to me this song can have a lot of meanings, but the one I see most ties in really closely to my life. I feel like he's talking about how he'll be there for anyone that needs him when they're at their lowest point. It doesn't have to be just one specific person, he wants those he cares about to know that he will be the person they can always come to, the home they will always have safe haven at. I'm the kind of person who can't stand to see those I love in pain, all I want to do is fix them. Help them find their way home, back to the place they once were. There is a lot of pain out there, everyone needs someone they can turn to. We all have past experiences and mistakes that we can use to guide those around us and bring them back after they've fallen so far. Tears stream down your face I promise you I will learn from my mistakes Tears stream down your face And I . . . Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you gets me every time. This is the story of my life in 7 lines. |

| OneRepublic – All This Time Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song is beautiful. It's pretty self-explanatory in most parts, it's all about how he loves someone so much. Even though being famous is great, nothing compares to their love. He's truly devoted and so in love, I can't stop listening to this song. | |
| OneRepublic – Good Life Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I don't really see this as the opposite of Secrets, I actually feel like they're along the same kind of theme. Secrets was more about their frustrations with the music industry in general and that they're just going to keep being the band they started as. I think Good Life is all about a celebration of what they're accomplished and that people love them because they're honest and true as a band. I love this song so much. | |
| OneRepublic – Secrets Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I love this song so much, I feel like it's a statement by OneRepublic as a band that they're going to keep doing what they do, writing music they want no matter what people say. They don't need juicy stories or falsehoods to make themselves famous, they'll just keep being OneRepublic and won't hide who they truly are. I feel like a lot of this album is about their journey through the music industry and their reaction to it, I love it. Their songs are all honest and just amazing. | |
| There For Tomorrow – Just In Time Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
this song popped up on my shuffle the other day and I can't stop listening to it now. I feel like it has a really relatable message about how frustrated we feel when nothing seems to work. When it feels like you've been with every type of person and nothing works, you've tried everything and you're still alone. I think the first 4 lines really hit home for me. Something wrong with me I'm not getting along with me My eyes pasted on the ceiling I can't get my mind to stop working story of my life. |

| Addison Road – What Do I Know of Holy Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I can hardly even describe how much this song means in my life. As a lover of music, this song amazes me, so passionate and powerful, moving on so many levels. As a Christian, this song just... I can't even put it into words. Music is one of my favorite ways to show my love for Him who gave His life for me and this song goes above and beyond anything I could ever think of. As to the meaning of it, I think Jenny is really trying to just say how God is so much bigger than we even think. His love is all encompassing and sometimes we forget that. It's easy to become complacent and forget the role God plays in our life, but then something happens and we remember. We remember how much we need Him. What do I know of Holy What do I know of wounds that will heal my shame And a God who gave life its name What do I know of Holy Of the One who the angels praise All creation knows your name On earth and heaven above What do I know of this love No words could describe my feelings toward my Lord and Savior the way this does |

| Addison Road – Start Over Again Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
how has no one commented on this song yet?!?! I just recently discovered Addison Road and I can't get over how good their music is, it hits me on so many levels and really speaks to my soul. For me this song is pretty easy to interpret, it's about letting go of our past and moving into all that we can become. We aren't contained to who we were and how we used to be, life is meant to be lived, not regretted. Yesterday is gone Today is all you've got You don't have to be who you've been You can change within It's never too late To start over again just plain amazing. |

| Paramore – Stuck on You (Failure cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
spoon33 hit it right on the head in my opinion, but I think there is also another way to look at this that combines two of those theories. I don't know about anyone else, but when I date someone, or have any kind of relationship, there is always some kind of music that still ties them in my memory. One way this song hit me was in the idea that the writer is hearing a song that reminds them of a person who was once significant in their life, but no longer is. The person can't get away from everything that reminds him/her of all that they once had. Just my two cents on it. "You're everywhere inside of me" - couldn't be worded any better |
|
| Paramore – The Only Exception Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
for me this is definitely a love song, but it's filled with the insecurities that come with love. It's so real, so full of pure emotion. I think that Hayley is just really trying to emphasize that even if we doubt that love exists, it really is out there. Falling in love with someone is hard, we have doubts, we rethink ourselves, we make up excuses. But then we find that exception, that one person who makes it all worth it. The one that is finally worth the risk. Beautifully written, played, and sung. "Because none of it was ever worth the risk, but you are the only exception" |
|
| Paramore – Careful Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I don't know if it's really either. I think it's more about life in general, how it's not going to be easy. Hayley's thoughts on the song were mostly about breaking out of the bubbles that we put ourselves in. Giving ourselves the chance to break out of the molds that we put ourselves in so often. We can't be afraid to dive into the unknown. When she says that "the truth never set me free, so I'll do it myself" I think she's meaning that we have to be in charge of our own fate, our own decisions. We can't just sit back and wait for things to happen. |
|
| Monty Are I – All Of You Tonight Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song is amazing. It's got some pretty obvious sexual innuendo, but the thought behind it is what really gets me. It's all about just giving yourself over to one person with no holds barred. Completely opening your heart and surrendering to emotion. So beautiful. | |
| Paramore – All I Wanted Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I don't even have words for this song. The vibe that I get from this is just that things get so crazy sometimes and we forget about all that we have and all that we've wanted. I think Hayley is just trying to say that's it's really simple. We just have simple needs. ahhhhh I love this so much. Definitely one of my favorites from bne | |
| SafetySuit – Find A Way Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| this song is amazing and filled with so much emotion. The first time I heard it I just never wanted it to stop. I see it as just a pure expression of love towards the one you love. The willingness to do anything to make them happy. | |
| Benton Paul – Don't Go Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This song is incredible. The piano is so touching and moving. I could listen to it for days. I think it's pretty self explanatory, something has happened to them and he sees the relationship as stagnant while she is convinced there is a reason and that things can go back to how they were. Amazing song, amazing artist. Things happen, I know, for a reason best line ever. |
|
| Default – All Is Forgiven Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I think the message of this song is incredible, it's so reassuring. We all lose hope, we all go through times that kick us to the ground, but it'll get better. The past is the past, yeah it was hard, yeah sometimes it sucks, but it doesn't matter any more. What matters is today, what's important is what we make of tomorrow The night is darkest just before the dawn |
|
| Sigur Rós – Fljótavík Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I love this song. Any time I need to just relax all I have to do is listen to this and it does amazing things. I love Sigur Ros, their music is amazing. That's all there is to it | |
| Gavin Mikhail – Days Gone By Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I have no words. this song came on and I just stopped. It's powerful, it's emotional. It's everything a song should be. I don't really need to expound on the meaning, the words speak volumes and the music fills in where words leave off. Phenomenal song. | |
| Red – Start Again Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song is beautiful no matter how you interpret it. The pure emotion and drive behind the powerful message of regret is incredible. Thank you to fallacyofdualism for finding that little bio on the song, you can feel the heartbreak and regret throughout the whole song. | |
| Red – Forever Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| and when I said Intro to Silence, I definitely meant END of Silence, haha. Sorry about that | |
| Red – Forever Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| great song, amazing album. Red certainly didn't disappoint. I think you're totally right rednaxela, I think this song has a lot to do with God and how He steps in and makes us feel alive again. The message reminds me a lot of Pieces from Intro to Silence, but a little harder musically. I really love this song though | |
| Gavin Mikhail – Brave Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| this song is incredible. It is a song that just shows an immense amount of love and support for the one he loves. It always makes me feel better | |
| Anberlin – Readyfuels Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
time will tell if all turns out ok favorite line. So profound. Love this band |
|
| Paramore – Breathe Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| anyone know where I can find this song? I love paramore and I'm trying to find all these songs that I mysteriously don't have. This song can, I think, be interpreted in many ways. Whether you look at it as reaching for God or someone you love, it's a beautiful song. Very passionate and hearfelt | |
| Paramore – Another Day Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| thanks so much for the download to this song, I love the lyrics and I can imagine the song is amazing as well | |
| Secondhand Serenade – Suppose Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
this is one of my favorite songs on the album and it has so much meaning in my life. This song just pulls you in, you become one with the story and by the end you can feel all the heartbreak and all you want is for him to be happy again. gah I love this song so much |
|
| Red – Pieces Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song is crazy good. Definitely my favorite on the CD. I love it so much because I've been in this situation, I've been scattered pieces, I've been a broken mess. We have all been there and I was able to pull myself back together through the knowledge that Christ loves me and that I'm not supposed to be perfect. I'm just supposed to do what I can and God, in his infinite love, will make up where I fall short. That thought brings me through so much. This song is amazing. On so many levels | |
| Red – Breathe Into Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
this song represents a lot to me, it's got so many things in it that make it applicable to so many people, whether Christian or not. The way the song is worded is beautiful and it really can apply to anyone because we are all going to go through hard times, we are all going to fall at some point in life. This song reminds us that if we allow God into our lives things can, and will, get better Breathe your life into me I still need you I’m falling, falling words to live life by right there |
|
| Red – Already Over, Pt. 2 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
the beauty of RED's music is that many of their songs can be interpreted to do with religion or not with religion. I choose to believe that this song is about redemption and coming back to Christ, but that is my personal opinion and you can like it or not, but disrespect is not needed. This song is so beautiful and I love that it is acoustic. I feel like it is about coming to to Christ after having fallen far from His love. I love it |
|
| Red – Wasting Time Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this could be talking about a couple things, Satan, addiction, doubt. I think the lyrics are written well enough that you can take it and use it to whatever circumstance you may be currently facing. This was the first RED song I heard so it's got a special place for me, but it's not my very favorite song. I love the message it sends though. Standing up to your personal demons, finding a way to not let them pull you down anymore. powerful stuff | |
| Elisa – Dancing Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I'm with most everyone else here, lol. I heard this first on SYTYCD but this song is seriously amazing. I get chills every time I hear it. No need for anything but music music's the reason why I know time still exists This couldn't describe my personal views in any better way. Amazing song and amazing singer, she's phenomenal |
|
| Amber Pacific – Watching Over Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I definitely think it's about someone really close to him passing away. I love this song so much | |
| The Spill Canvas – Appreciation and the Bomb Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I feel like the bomb is an analogy to this song. This is how he is making a statement, he's coming out and just saying what he feels, no matter the consequences, no matter who will get angry at this blow up. Lyrically this song is beautiful and I think the music fit with it perfectly When the spark reaches powder I will blow up I'll become the mist you breathe into your lungs All of my love will then turn into yours And you will feel hope bleeding out from your pores I love this part, I think he wants this song to represent hope and how no one really appreciates things anymore, but he wants that to change |
|
| Madina Lake – We'll Be Okay Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| yeah Jonathan, he was at the Arlene ball that night, but we don't know what he was doing. I'm pretty sure that we won't be able to figure out the mystery just yet. the guys have to make the story span over 3 albums so they can't put all the information out yet, lol | |
| Madina Lake – We'll Be Okay Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| yeah I've read it a few times, lol. but I don't really know if Pandora and the rest of the suspects would want to help her escape just because she is really the source of their popularity, you know what I mean? I see this as more of a reminiscent song | |
| Madina Lake – We'll Be Okay Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| yeah I'm pretty certain it's got something to do with Adalia, what it exactly means to it I'm not sure yet, but I'm working on it. | |
| Madina Lake – We'll Be Okay Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I don't remember exactly. I got it on a fan-site forum, but I first heard it on YouTube. I'm currently trying to find which album it originated on | |
| Jimmy Eat World – Cautioners Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| this song is beyond amazing. The harmonies created practically make me melt. I think it was said best earlier when it was described as angelic. The lyrics would mean something to anyone listening, we've all had something like this happen. | |
| Senses Fail – Slow Dance Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think everyone's pretty much got the point of the song down, I just kind of wanted to echo a few things. First off, Buddy (and the whole band for that matter) are all extremely intelligent. You can see that in almost every one of their songs, especially in the way the albums are laid out and organized (especially in Still Searching.) This song is all about balance and finding it in your life. Trying to make things work without pushing them too far, just things like that |
|
| Madina Lake – We'll Be Okay Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| For those of you who don't know, this is a song that is on a B-side album. It's absolutely amazing and means a lot to me specifically because me and all my best friends went to different colleges and I miss them a lot. | |
| Madina Lake – Me VS The World Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The true beauty of Madina's songs is that they can be interpreted in so many ways. This song is a perfect example of this, as is Here I Stand. While this was most likely originally written about the death of their mother is can be see as any kind of tragic loss, whether it be a death or break-up or just someone important stepping out of your life. Madina has a way with making their songs applicable on many levels which is why I love them so much, no matter what I'm going through I can find a ML song to fit my mood | |
| Madina Lake – Stars Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
this song is definitely one of my favorites on the album, but nothing can compare to seeing this live. Right next to the stage. With Nathan practically singing to you. It's so moving. I think this song can be taken either literally or figuratively. It's about escaping, about leaving behind the past that was unsatisfying and mediocre. Overall an amazing piece of music |
|
| Gavin Mikhail – Who We Are Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I can't believe no one has commented on this song yet. I think this song carries such a strong message. Everyone goes through heartbreak, sad times, and challenges, but the true test of us as a person is how we learn from them. The trials we see truly define us, even if it is a painful process. We have a chance to learn from the past and move on from it, starting a new part of our lives that doesn't have to be as bad. | |
| The Scene Aesthetic – Yes, Even Stars Break Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I love this song so much. I think it can mean alot of things, but for me it has a lot to do with a past relationship and thinking that you knew someone so well, but it really wasn't all you thought it was. You don't want to look on what things turned out to be, but on the good times before, when you were happy together, even if they were scripted and untrue | |
| Secondhand Serenade – Take Me With You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I want this song to play at my wedding. I love the way this song describes falling in love and the way the bridge just slows down. It's amazing "Tell me all of your hopes, all of your dreams I want to take you there" no other words can better describe love |
|

| Secondhand Serenade – Awake Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| to me this just exemplifies the first time your heart starts to beat a little faster and you begin to fall deeper into love. All he wants to do is just be with her, he doesn't want to miss one moment with his one true love | |
