when i first heard the song i thought it was about a girl and how the lead singer can't get over the girl because she doesnt want him... but looking at it now it has to be about Hollywood... "we came down to watch the world walk by" about them coming to the city to get big "and all she found was trouble in my eyes" about how they arent any different from any other band trying to get famous "from the sky she pulled me down tonight" now they are on the ground and realizing they are just another band

-the fireman that was with Casey Jones saw that they were gonna run into the back of another train so he told Casey and Casey told him to jump out the window while he tried to slow down the train to save the lives of his passengers
Casey Jones had left the station late so he was speeding and then he crashed, he was the only person that died trying to slow down the train
the cocaine line may be about a myth that he was on cocaine while driving and thats why he crashed but that is only a theory |

might mean that you two were never really friends and now that you realized he or she was just using you now you hate them

could mean that this person you were once friends with used you to get to someone else, someone you liked
"Strange that you became my biggest enemy

this could mean that you've never seen the real side of this person and now you hate them for that and for taking the person that you like

Uncle Tom is a book written around the time of the civil war, it is about the daily life of a black slave at that time, the book showed how slaves in the south really lived and educated the north who would then try to free them by using the underground railroad, we learned about that in our U.S. History class and when i first heard my teacher say Uncle Tom i first thought of this song
