"Swaying" as written by and Pat/hotchkiss Monahan....
Don't talk too fast to me-slow-I wanna know
Share your philosophy before you go-I wanna know
If I knew better, I wouldn't wanna say
If I knew better, I wouldn't let the words feel this way
Cold, so cold, like I woke up on the street
But isn't that the payback for being indiscreet
If I knew better, I'd climb up on my ego like a child.
If I knew better, I'd knock down the flag
on your shoulder that's Swaying
If I knew better-I wouldn't change a thing
So don't you talk so fast to me, slow I wanna know

General Commenti think hes talking about how if he could he would change his life for the better, but somethings he wouldnt change like maybe his girl friend, im only saying that because of the line "if i knew better, I wouldn't change a thing" and if you like the person just the way they are, why would you change them?

I love it when Train ends with the best line from the song, like in this one and Rat and Days, well to me thier the best lines, and if you think about it Rat, Days and Swaying all kind of have that same slow beat, all of them are great however
