I don't think it's completely a jerk song. It can be taken like that, but it can also be taken other ways. However, from the lines "Why you gotta keep the fan on high when it's cold outside? Just wanna let you know that I'm still a fan-get it?" I do get a sexual meaning. Why do you have to keep the fan "on high." And he's a "fan." He's still "on high" for her. But yeh, whatevs. |

It is different. That's the first thing I noticed about their three new songs up on Myspace. They have a different sound. But they are still good. And they still have the same effect on me that the old songs did that makes Mayday Parade my favorite band. (The heartbreaking, same feelings type of feeling, ya know?) But, over all, I love the song. I agree with the others. One not so wonderful relationship, and his escape. |

Man, even though I can't relate, this song is so beautiful. It was the first song of hers that I introduced to me friend and she fell in love with it. It's so opposite of the type of music I normally listen to too. It's just... she is a great singer with great songs. I love them and I love her. With the line "The two of us a perfect fit you’re all mine, all mine" it points more to a relationship. But, I can also see how it could relate back to christ even anyone else. |

This song is real to me. Cause it's exactly what I'm going through right now. It's exactly it. It's pretty much how I feel word for word. I absolutely love Armor for Sleep. "So here's the truth You were right all along They were never my friends I was living a lie But I won’t fall for it next time" He's seeing that the people who have been saying that these people aren't your friends are right. Even though, he didn't want to believe it at first, he was 'living the lie.' But, he will find 'true' friends next time. The "You stayed the same" is right. it took me the longest time to figure out what they were saying at that part. (For some reason that "Maybe it's Maybellene" comercial kept popping into me head x) And, as for the meaning, I've always took it as a relationship type of thing some time down the road. The "two whom it may concern" is the ex that is saying that you have changed (I'm the same) And at the same time, trying to convince you that they've changed, even when they haven't. (You stayed the same -- Drown in your fake personality -- Drown in your fake personality) But, I actually see where ya'll are saying its written to the Posers and the 'Preps' who are starting to take the emo/goth/skater/scene//// image. This is a worship song. They are a christian rock band. But, with it, it is obvious how it can be taken for a love song. And, even though this isn't what it was origanally written for, you can 'send' it as such (Such as a message to the one you love) But, with the lines like it is obvious that it is to God. I love this song. Its so just one of those 'Life' songs that you can relate to.
