To me, this song is about having a child with someone, it uses a lot of slang words etc... 'two way kind of sindicate' - two parents/people linked by a child. 'some people do it by the book but i prefer to go by feel' - some people plan it and go to great lengths to make it happen but here he is saying, let's just see what happens. 'The spirit of a dragon's tear is lovely at this time of year' - use your imagination, lol 'the cave within your mountainside is deeper than it will be wide hold me' - referrs to a woman body 'my disenchanted diplomat asleep inside the laundromat conveyor belts are moving and i want you to be sure of that, tell me' - again, use your imagination 'and if you let it germinate i know it will be worth the wait' - just let the baby grow inside, it'll be worth the wait when it's born I dunno, maybe it's just me but when i read the lyrics before hearing the song thats what i thought. Did anyone else think it was about this? |

| I'm probably the only person to think it, but I just don't really like it. It's very different to the rest of the album and i'm not really a ballard girl, lol Still, very sweet lyrics and anthony sings it very well, just not my cup of tea. | |
