Well Nomad, idk if only 60 percent or whatever do go to college, i know personally that 98 percent of my school goes on to some sort of college, but being that America is large and quite populus and the rest of the world has alot less schools and education, i would take that as a compliment. I mean heck, the UK is about the size of New England, quite proper. But hey, Africa is huge and it is poverished and underdeveloped. Not sure anyone could call the US stupid because alot of people cant afford college. But hey! The British are always right! |

Yeah i agree its not their best song. Its good though.
In general the abuse situation is pretttty aparent. The sickness idea drummer put up is pretty farout in my opinion.
in MY opinion, the sickness is hatred. The way he refers to 'getting down with it' and wanting and craving more of it from everyone around him seems pretty reasonable. |

Well i kinda agree with both of you. With this whole saturnalia idea, i dont think its as deep as the romans had it going on. However, there was definitley an 'orgy' of some sort, whether or not there was protection involved isnt said =P
However, this person seems to be obsessed if not just infatuated with another. It is dark and kreepy how fascinated he/she is. There are hints towards the person being dead or inanimate as well... which is chilling.
Although its vauge about the exact situation, i can guarantee you that the narrator is a dominant, possesesive figure.
"Now you're fuckin' mine" Kinda hints that, doesnt it? |

Not to be blunt and clichic, but this song is about a relationship obviously. "This sinking ship" Kinda shows that there is something going on in it that is negative. "That will tear us apart" Is talking about some secretive 'information' on this 'ship' that is probably not best to be known by one side of the party. In general, its about some dude/chick who is a relationship with someone that simply isnt real. Their feelings are of almost neglect towards eachother, and i think the narrator is just realizing this. Call me a dreamer but thats what it seems like |
