| Anberlin – Adelaide Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I love this song because my girlfriend lives in Adelaide. I'm in Scotland, and it's most certainly a tough relationship. But I was in Adelaide this Summer and it was great. =D I don't really think about the lyrics too deeply - it's just a nice reminder of my lady. | |

| Oh, and of course it is about understanding that virginity is precious too. | |

Beautiful, emotional song. I guess it's about coming to terms with growing up and coming to terms with the truth. There are many times I have been let down hard and suddenly. And how I wish those women had heard this song and had just been truthful about everything instead of building something on false promises. Okay, it's about a lady in this case - but it's the same thing in the end. Now I laugh at how little I knew when I was a teen! I'm 21 now, and I've found someone who I am certain I have a future with. =) |

MarieC is correct. The song's about his guitar and his music! Although Stormgirl's interpretation is the one most people make; and it's pretty easy to do so! But yeah, for him it's personally about his guitar. But I think he wrote it with other people in mind. |

| Bruce Cockburn – Lovers in a Dangerous Time Lyrics | 18 years ago |

What a brilliant and beautiful song. As much as I love the Barenaked Ladies version, this is so much more tuneful and heart-thumping The Barenaked Ladies version is most definitely more fun though. They are both superb. As for the meaning - I believe Bruce wrote it while looking at the bigger picture. With the World in War, the AIDS epidemic and people losing control of their emotions - it was most certainly dangerous to be lovers in such a time. "But nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight. Got to kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight". Finishing my paragraph quite well. ;] |

This song is just beautiful. Occams has already given the proper answer - it's all about biology. And to go even deeper, the song is also funny - in its own way, charming and it has personality. Beauty, wit, charm and personality - any guy would be happy with that in a partner. And I'm very happy with this song. =D The song isn't my partner by the way, haha. |

| Linkin Park – In Pieces Lyrics | 18 years ago |

This reminds me of my recent ex. When the relationship started, she promised she would never get bored of me or break my heart. She did both. She lied to my face many times. And she was the one who dumped me...just to save her own heart from being broken. Funny thing was, I wanted to try and make it work. And I feel this song sums up how I feel. I shouldn't be the one "to leave this, in pieces". Because it's her loss. I instantly fell in love with this song when I first heard it for this reason. And I bet you when the album is finally released...it's going be a huge hit. The ska guitar is an odd, yet perfect choice. =] |

| Alice in Chains – Love, Hate, Love Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The song sums up how I feel at the moment. The raw emotion is just superb towards the end. I wish I could contribute towards the meaning, but I think it's already been covered. | |

| Brain_case's spot on. It's a chilling little number; but great at the same time. | |
| A – Bad Idea Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Steve Lamacq's song of 1997/98...it's easy to understand the meaning. It's just a grumpy song! Jason is just singing about how he loves life and everything is great, starts thinking about the wee things he hates and goes listsing them as bad ideas. His vocals are brilliant in this song. The tone just changes from bouncy to total disdain. |

| A – Afterburner Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I'm pretty sure he sings: "There's a news alert in aid of Kurt". I think the songs about Kurt Cobain, and how he didn't want to be "burning out". The album was written in 2004 and Cobain's death was in 1994 so "Ten years later". It's hard to judge though. Lyrically, it's an odd song. It's great though! =D |
