This song is so wonderful! You can hear so much emotion in Charlie's voice that it makes me wanna cry. But you know it's for the best because that person doesn't have to suffer anymore. it won't be long 'til you get there And all the years move so slowly I'll see you on the otherside So go and carry her Please go and carry her I think "you get there" means going to heaven. Where everything will be good and Charlie says they will meet eachother there. I think he asks God to carry her. I read somewhere Charlie's quite religious so I think Charlie's asking God to carry her instead of death itself like BingerBuena said. |

One of the best Spice Girl songs in my opinion. I never really understood where it was about back then, but right now I do agree with thesun_stillsleeps. Maybe tomer83 is right too, that was a whole new explanation of the song/vid for me. But I'm sure it's about your first love, you'll still keep thinking about the memories. |

Love this song(L)!! Think the song is about feeling lonely. You feel like you're "walking a lonely road" and like nobody's goin' your way. But you're used to walk alone so it feels like home. But deep inside you'll find someone you can relate to, someone who will find you. Maybe it's also about making it in the musicbiz? Greenday wanted to be different than others wanted them to be so they feel like they walk a lonely road on the boulevard of broken dreams. Cause they broke the dreams of people who wanted them to be different from who they really are/were? |

This song is beautiful, it has such pure lyrics.:) The song is obviously about old High School memories. You remember how it used to be back then, while you're looking at old photographs. "So hard to stay, too hard to leave it." I think that's the most beautiful sentence of this song. Because it is so true. Someway you can't leave it behind but otherwise you can't keep thinking about it because it is a thing of the past and you have to live for the future instead of for the past. |

I think the song ispossibly about God; "Oh, I reach for you" He really wants to come closer to God because he kind of lost his way, got on the wrong track or something and he wants God to "teach him wrong from right" and then he will show to God "what he can be" "I''ll leave this life behind me, and say it if it's worth saving me" He knows he's living live in a wrong way and he doesn't know if he can make it right, so he says say it if it's worth saving me because he's not sure if his sins are forgiveable. |
