I LOVE the part of the song where he sings "I'm never letting go" and while he is singing that he screams it as well. Now that I see these lyrics I feel such a great sadness I think stephen christian is an amazing This song is obviously about "the one that got away" as circa_survive_qreen said And the funeral part in the title is about her love being dead. Not how I would say it but more like the man she is going to marry is the death of her life. Or this wedding is the killing then one who LET her get away. When it says "You're lowered down the aisle" That makes me think of people whoa re dead being lowered into the ground, so it must be about her [the funeral part] And this song is . . . .captivating. maybe its a mixture of all 3, suicide, and her being a slut my theory is she started cutting herself because she didn't feel enough love out of this relationship, like she felt left out. and she realizes cutting isn't working and she looks for love in all opf the wrong places [the bedroom] and once the boyfirned finds out he abuses her. and the whole thing starts all over again this song is one of the saddest i have ever heard. |

I think that these he Is in a relationship with someone. But he feels like neither of them feel the same way they used to. And even though they don't have "feelings" for eachother anymore he is scared of ending the relationship and breaking her heart becasue he has broke so many hearts before. And in the line "you try to find a rythym in your heartbeat" I think that means that they are trying to make it better and they keep telling themselves they still are into eachother, but its just basically a lie. |
