Nope, it's definitely not E. It's C.

The use of the flat 7th (B flat) is a little confusing, but it works with F (the 4th of C) |

Can anyone explain the "i don't want to perish like a fading horse" line? What do horses have to do with anything? |

I agree with ndo.
I think being "hit by a mink car" is sort of a metaphor for selling out....
The song is all about being rich and successful and how much it sucks. |

| Korpiklaani – Crows Bring The Spring Lyrics

This song has some of the best imagery I've ever heard.
It's an interresting concept: I've never associated crows with the coming of spring...then again, I've never been to Finland. |

| Korpiklaani – God Of Wind Lyrics

It's a story...the story of a man...who want's to be a god...of wind.
Ok, so my guess is that this is some old traditional folk tale...maybe?
Just remember, everyone: must be like bear! |

I don't think "dwarves" is quite the right word...so much as "gnomes" or "trolls". Anyway, those little dudes who live underground really know how to party.
I wish i knew how to yoik.... |

| Kalmah – Kill The Idealist Lyrics

I think it's kind of ironic and sarcastic. Telling us that Big Brother wants to "kill the idealist" in all of us; that is to say, stop independent thought, and to ensure that we not worry about anything but the tedium of day-to-day work ("Capital rules the world")
That's the way I understand the Chorus, in a nutshell. The rest, i believe, shows that society is reluctant to change.
One of my favorite songs...bleak as it may be. |

| Kalmah – Human Fates Lyrics
|
The ballad of a group of people who have wasted their lives away...and they don't care ("in god-forsaken place, they are the family, and they are at home.")
The "use of education" line is interresting. It feels out of place...anyone have any idea as to the meaning of this line?
All in all, a beautiful song: one of my favorites. Good imagery, and great use of the 6/8 feel time signature.
Also, anyone have any idea of what's said in that slow, whispery part, just before the "use of education" bit? |

| Kalmah – My Nation Lyrics
|
it's (obviously) about a revolution, showing that if we join together for the right cause, we can achieve...anything.
I think the "So my brother raise your scimitar, join our legion in the name of God" part is somewhat interresting. It gives it a sort of a jihad/crusade feel. |

I love Kalmah's use of sarcasm in political ideals ("he makes you feel sarcastic")...anyway, yes, this song conveys an extremely political message; the lyrics kind of explain themselves. |

| Kalmah – The Third, The Magical Lyrics

|
going off the acloholism theory, the rope could be the hold that his affliction has over him.
The song could also have to do with an identity crisis.
"searching some answers concealed in my heart", "who I really am?", "a way to believe I'm born again". |

I think it means that human understanding can only go so far, and we can never hope to truly understand everything about the universe. |
