that's the best part for me. it reminds me of the part in The Outsiders when Johnny tells Ponyboy to stay golden after reading the Robet Frost poem. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, I think 'golden' has the same meaning here. |

This is such a beautiful love song. I'm thinking it's about the unconditional love of the man for the woman and how he remembers being with her and regrets what led to the breakup. He says how no matter what he will always be there for her. One of my favorites. |

I love this song so much. it's absolutly beautiful. My take, it's just a couple who are in love. They don't need anyone else, only each other, and they have both saved each other from unhappiness ( the "you really caught me, dear" part ) and drive to savannah to settle down. |

I've been a RENThead since the summer. I wish I saw it earlier though, but this weekend I purchased the OBC recording of RENT and it is absolutly amazing!! This song is about how the world will always keep turning no matter what, and everyone keeps living and doing normal things, even though there are people out there struggling and hardly living because of someone they love and truelly miss.
