This song is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I don't have much to add that hasn't already been said, but last night on SYTYCD, Kupono and Kayla danced to a contemporary routine with this song, and I can't get over how much I loved it. The idea was that Kupono represented an addiction, and Kayla could never escape him, no matter how hard she tried. I NEVER thought of the song like that. I always thought of it as a love song, but now I have a whole new interpretation of the song. It doesn't have to be limited to being hooked to a person. It could be a drug, an abusive relationship, whatever. I think that's the beautiful thing about music. There isn't just one interpretation. People who've experienced different things could see a song in an entirely different way, but that still doesn't mean their interpretation is wrong. |

Holy crap!! Before he did a cover of this song, I just thought it was a meaningless pop song that was fun to sing. Somehow, he managed to give the song more depth and meaning. When he sang it live, he had me in tears by the end of it. It was so beautiful, and you could tell he was putting his entire heart on the stage. David Cook is the greatest Idol contestant ever, and my absolute favorite!!! |

This song really deserves more comments. In my opinion, it's Celine's best, and most underrated song. It's so beautiful and makes me smile every time I listen to it!! I first heard it on So You Think You Can Dance on a wonderful routine choreographed by Mia Michaels. I've been obsessed with it ever since!! |

I don't care what the fuck people say. I love this song and I love this band and I''m damn proud of it. This song holds so many memories. Obviously, it's about letting go of the past and moving forward, although not letting go of the memories. They used to play this song so many times on the radio, so I got sick of it, but I just listened to it for the first time in years, and I love it once again!! |

anyways, i've loved this song since the first time i heard it (i cried, like many others here!!). even now, it still brings tears to my eyes!! i can't really relate to it, but it's still my favorite song in the enitire flipping world (right next to "your guardian angel" by RJA)!!!!!!! |

i agree too!! the first time i heard this song was from the movie brother bear (which is one of my favorite disney movies). i was obsessed with it then, and i still am!! this man is seriously amazing!! XD |
