everybody thinks they wrote this because this is what they were feeling but they actually wrote it for their FANS. after the letters they recieved from thousands of them telling them their difficulties in life, they took all that into writing this song. plus, i'm sure they felt these kind of feelings when they were teenagers. i mean, who hasn't? and you can be an adult and have these kind of feelings too, it's natural. |

I first interpreted the meaning of this song as a abusive/loveless relationship but it could be interpreted into so many different situations. I love songs like that, you can picture what they're trying to say in the way you think it is.

i almost cried listening to this song.
it reminds me exactly of my ex-boyfriend/first love who has just too many issues, he keeps coming to me for help and then just "running" away from me everytime. he won't let anybody help him. |
