Basically it means getting super hammered drunk with nothing but "shots", he mentions "shot que me carguen" translated "shots until they carry me" cause obviously he cant stand up. Yofo fo fo i think means that he is slurring his words. The rest of this song doesnt really make sense just matching words to rhyme basically. Overall its mosly about slamming drinks. |

According to what i learned sell my soul had to do with the Lost Generation and indiginous people of australia who faced colonization by biritain and persecution and economic presssure to modernize like in the song 'mechanize, city bursts and famers die'. Overall he cries for freedom and that he just wants to be himself and be free like a 'fish in the sea'. |

To be general I believe this song is more about life than politics. In the video helps explain how life continues in transition to another hassle such as school then you think it ends at graduation but then you have to work, what you thought has an end has no end. Everyday it feels the same at school and later in life at work it all comes together to feel that it has no end. The two step forward also fit it, you think you moved on but your back where you started living life in repeated patterns which everyone has to deal with. p.s. i love eva mendes who looks great in this video!! |
