does this song remind anyone else of a song in 'the nightmare before christmas' where jack skellington the pumpkin king is singing the song 'what have i done' or whatever it is called after he crashes the sleigh thing? well anyways they are both awesome songs...'this i love' is better though. and all of chinese democracy in its 70+ minutes of material is way better than pretty damn awesome music imo |

Skynyrd imo, is without a doubt one of the greatest rock bands of all time. This is the song that got me started on the classics and I have been hooked on their kick ass tunes since this was played for musical chairs at my 5th birthday back in '94. Need I say more? |

Are these guys fuckin serious??? The first time I heard this on Guitar Hero 2, I laughed my ass off and not in a good way. I thought it was a fuckin joke. Thats how bad this song is. I agree with the deep depression meaning, but these guys aren't a new addition to the death metal genre. In the Arms of Devastation is their 8th album I believe.
This was my first Kataklysm album and I have to say they kick extremely large asses. This is probably my fav song on it too. Great Vocals.

This song is NOT about Stairway to Heaven. It is actually about another Zep tune.
It's about a song recorded by Zeppelin that Plant and Page agreed was the greatest they had ever written. But when it was recorded it somehow got erased and they couldn't remember how it went. They only knew the intro which was used as the beginning of Tangerine (another Zep song for those who don't know).
The D uses parts of Stairway in the song because most people say that S2H is the greatest song in the world. |
