I read James say that it's about a girl writing her suicide note. She was under heavy parent control and then she found out she can't actually live on her own.
BTW the best Metallica song, next to Enter Sandman. They DID play it live on the St.Anger tour, while Lars of course didn't play the fast double bass. |
