| Blood, Sweat & Tears – Spinning Wheel Lyrics

I thought the carousel bit was sort of like that whole wheel of life thing. "What goes up must come down "
Things may get bad, but they'll come up again. And that's how it's always going to be, so no point worrying. Dunno if I agreee. |

Apart from being offensive in a number of ways already discussed, the actual music is pretty bad. Just a collection of electronic noises with a boring beat. It's like the junk food of music, but with even less nutritional value. Maybe that's why they call it
'bubblegum" pop. Because it is annoying, loses flavour quickly and is full of crap. |

| Everclear – Why I Don't Believe In God Lyrics

I was taught that the main scientific principle was that you can't get something from nothing. I'm a bit suss about the big bang. You can't shake a box of cake mix around the kitchen and end up with a cake.
Anyway. I love Everclear for their honesty. |

I love this song for so many reasons, but one of the best things is how open/genuine it is. |

The song that most remings me of summer .. apart from the ice-cream van song! I never really thought about what it meant ,I just thought the person was just laying around doing nothing, and sort of enjoying being useless and lazy. |

That's kind of what i thought. I got the idea that the person in the song has no idea what they are doing. |

| The Rolling Stones – Get Off Of My Cloud Lyrics
| 18 years ago
|
I used to think it was -
'I live in an apartment on the ninety-ninth floor of my block
And I sit at home looking out the window
Imagining the world as a CLOUD'
Which I thought was kind of cool, but I like the real words just as well. Even though it's not as fun to sing. |

| Regina Spektor – Little Boxes (Malvina Reynolds cover) Lyrics

weird. My mum used to sing this song about little boxes made of ticky-tack, and the different colours they were, but I was about 9 then, and now I am 18. Also, it was something she remembered from childhood. So maybe there's an old nursery rhyme there somewhere..? |
