The Black Keys – Set You Free Lyrics 19 years ago
I love Pat's drumming in this song! He deserves way more credit than he gets.

The Black Keys – She Said, She Said (The Beatles cover) Lyrics 19 years ago
This is such a great rendition, it's funky, it's soulful and it's catchy. I love how it's so distinctively Black Keys-ey, but at the same time it stays true to the original.

The Black Keys – All Hands Against His Own Lyrics 19 years ago
This song has such an infectious groove to it, as soon as the drums kick in during the intro you just have to move!

The Black Keys – The Flame Lyrics 19 years ago
I saw them live in Byron Bay a few months before they released Magic Potion, and they gave us a sneak peek of this song, and I had shivers up and down my neck. Unreal song, to me it's about having your heart broken by someone to the point where you just can't be with that person anymore.

The Black Keys – The Lengths Lyrics 19 years ago
Actually, the fiddle is that droning, scratchy sound that plays all the way through "When The Lights Go Out". He only plays one note on it throughout the whole song. The thing you're refering to in "Act Nice and Gentle" is a pedal steel. The slide he plays on "The Lengths" is done on an acoustic.

This is a wonderfull song, one of my favourites from the Keys. To me it's about being hurt badly by someone who he cares/cared about a great deal.
