I'd like to lead off by saying that this is the first I've seen these comments, and I apologize for making you wait for a response.
That being said, I would like to restate my apology by messing up the lyrics. At the time I transcribed them, I was unable to find the actual lyrics anywhere. Having purchased the album on iTunes, I didn't have a lyrics booklet to go by. Therefore, I had no other option but to attempt to transcribe them by ear. My intent was not to come off as a smart ass or a brain-washer or anything of the sort. I was merely more concerned at the time with being as accurate as I could, and then posting the results so that people could be aware the songs existed. I should've phrased my initial apology a little better, perhaps, but hindsight is 20/20.
I've recently found another lyrics database that contained the lyrics for this song and went back and corrected not only this song, but the other ones that you commented on. Again, I apologize for taking so long to do so, but it had slipped my mind, considering I had and continue to have other responsibilities that take priority over the accuracy of the lyrics of songs I enjoy listening to.
Now that I've apologized and fixed the errors, get back to 4chan where you belong, you piece of shit. I may have been in the wrong, but that's no excuse for you shitting up this website with your death threats over a relatively innocent mistake. |

It's come to my attention that both this and the other His World lyrics under Zebrahead were for the same version of the song. Since this copy's lyrics were less accurate (for which I apologize if it was my original submission and not someone's changes), I am changing this to the Zebrahead version instead of the Ali Tabatabaee and Matty Lewis version (the game version). |

This is my favorite song on DTA! I think it's about someone futilely trying to fight an inescapable fate. |

In my humble opinion, this song is essentially about how people want practically anything they can get their hands on, but ironically, they often end up with less than they started with ("It's like you'd kill for what you had 'cause now you got shit"). The chorus offers the advice of giving up on getting everything you want and waking up from the "dream" of obtaining everything since "We'll never get what we want". |

This song is a reference to David Bowie's Space Oddity ("Ground Control to Major Tom, Ground Control to Major Tom..."). It seems to be a modernization or something of that nature. |

I apologize if I really screwed up these lyrics, but they are difficult to hear because some lines are quiet and the echo is somewhat distracting in the b-parts.
Otherwise, this is a really cool song! It's actually kind of self-descriptive, so I'll let my interpretation of the lyrics be the lyrics themselves. |

Many pardons, people, but it seems as though I screwed up. My sources were incorrect for this one and this song is actually called Lightning Rod and had lyrics up already which are better than mine. Sorry ^_^; |

| Submersed – Rewind Lyrics

This song is epic, but I believe the chorus should be:
What I'd give to rewind
Take back the words I've spoken
Turn back time
Turn back time
What I'd give to rewind
Restore the trust I've broken
Turn back time
Turn back time
Why?
At least, that's what I'm hearing... |

This song is about how people are always trying to get more than they have, but what they really want they can never obtain. The verses are about someone who is being laughed at in his misfortune.
This is a powerful song, albeit with a little hint of desperation. It's one of my favorites. |

I agree, but let me add this: The intro? BEST. DRUM. SOLO. EVER. This song is so damn inspiring that whenever I hear it, I just want to do something, anything; which is different from my normal laziness. |

I love this song. I have to have it playing whenever I play a video game that even mentions zombies. I think this song is about grabbing opportunities while you can. I.e., "If you don't live life to its fullest, you should not be living." Or, it's about escaping the drudgeries of reality and life in general. Either one fits in my opinion. |

OK, I just saw the new video for it on the band's MySpace page, and I must say it's AWESOME! The video itself turns the title of the song literal, but I won't spoil it for anyone. |

i wholeheartedly agree. my favorite parts of this song are
Cuz the pressures of this world, they can take there toll
And it's tough to get away when they take a hold
The only way to break free is to break the mold
He can't stop now, rock and roll
Don't stop now, come on, rock and roll
and the end after the guitar solo! |

This is about someone (ZH) whose friends were being manipulated by his/her rival. ZH saw through the ruse immediatly, but couldn't prove it. At the beginning, ZH discovers the proof and shows it to the manipulatees (the wolves), who proceed to get revenge on the antagonist. Most of this song is ZH waxing anger at the antagonist and listing his/her faults. |
