Lindsey Buckingham – Bwana Lyrics 18 years ago
In her book "Storms" Carol Ann Harris comments that this song was a sarcastic response to Mick Fleetwood's solo project which began as a trip to Africa one reason of which was to study African music.

Stevie Nicks – Kind Of Woman Lyrics 19 years ago
I'm a little hazy on this but, I believe Stevie wrote it in Colorado (the same time she wrote Landslide) when Lindsey was gone, on the road with The Everly Brothers. The "kind of woman that will haunt you" is her. The song suggests Lindsey may have strayed while on the tour, I don't recall Stevie ever stating this directly in any interviews though.

Stevie Nicks – Fireflies Lyrics 19 years ago
This song is beautiful to listen to (Fleetwood Mac's Live album). Stevie's, Lindsey's and Christine's harmonies are like magic. Stevie said she wrote it specifically for and about Fleetwood Mac ("my five fireflies"). I love this song!

Sheryl Crow – If You Ever Did Believe Lyrics 19 years ago
One of my favorites, this was written by Stevie Nicks and never made it to any of her albums. It was however recorded by Louise Goffin. Stevie contributed this song to the movie Practical Magic, at which time Sheryl Crow produced it with Stevie on vocals. Crow sang back up and played guitar.

Sheryl Crow – Crystal Lyrics 19 years ago
Written by Stevie Nicks circa '72 or '73 this song appeared on the Buckingham Nicks album which was released in 1973. It was also one of the first songs Buckingham & Nicks contributed to the Fleetwood Mac 1975 "white" album (which also contained the hit Rhiannon). Lindsey Buckingham sang the vocal on both recordings. When Stevie was asked to contribute songs for Practical Magic, she went into the studio with Sheryl Crow who sang background/harmony and played on as well as produced it.

Sheryl Crow – C'mon C'mon Lyrics 19 years ago
Stevie Nicks sings background vocal on this song. Sheryl went to Stevie's house saying she had written a song for Stevie and wanted to play it for her. She played acoustic in Stevie's living room and sang it to her. The lyrics were inspired by Stevie's musings on Lindsey Buckingham whom she had just been on tour with (w/Fleetwood Mac.)

Sheryl Crow – It's Only Love Lyrics 19 years ago
Crow wrote this song while producing Trouble in Shangri-La for Stevie Nicks. It is based on Stevie's relationship with Lindsey Buckingham. the line "passing round the candlight" references both Candlebright and Sorcerer on this album, which were written in the early 70's when Nicks and Buckingham were still a couple.
