I saw OAR in Clemson, SC a few years back, and he told us before they played a frat party at Clemson many years ago, upon asking one of his buddies where his girl was, he friend replied "fuck it, she gone" thus the song was born. |

This song was played in every restaurant, on every radio station, and basically in anything I watched...about 10 years after i heard it in Free Willy 2, i started working at a local Ruby Tuesday...googled what i thought to be the lyrics, and bam found it. I completely disagree with unpredictable...I find myself listening to this alot, its stuck in my head constantly. Basically, I've accepted that me and the girl I am wanting to be with are not going to work out at the moment, so I'm just looking for my "new shoes. " This song is about moving on, and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Personally, I also see this as a new beginning, and finally realizing that even though things may not be going your way, there still are great things in this world. Really good song. |

One of my friends was killed my senior year of high school in a car accident, the events that followed are sequenced perfectly to this song...from getting the call...to everyone gathering at the hospital. Can't help but not think of him everytime I hear this. Rest In Peace E.R.B
One of the best OAR songs theyve ever written, the live version on 34th and 8th is just incredible. |

I heard this when I worked at Hollister around July-ish I think it was, so around the same time MTV started playing this, so I suppose I'm a bandwagon fan of sorts. I always heard about these guys from this girl I know and when I first heard this it blew me away. To this day, I listen to it once or twice a day at least. My favorite part definitely has to be:

Mainly due to his incredible vocals. Such a great song, and having a good video never hurts. These guys are the next big thing I'm telling you, one of the best tracks of the year by far. |

This song is basically describing that awesome feeling, that you and either your significant other or your best friend are just invisible and on top of the world. This is definitely one of my favorite songs by them, their vocalist honestly (no pun intended) is one of the best things to happen to modern rock in many years, incredible young band. Cant wait to see them on May 2nd in Greenville, SC |
