I agree completely. I think that this song is about Rooney's frustration with the other people in the music industry and how people do things and sing things that are exactly like what everyone else is doing. They don't want to have to deal with all of that copying and they just want people to do things because they want to; not because it's the popular thing. |

| Yeah, I think that the Creed bit is just saying that he doesn't like them. | |

I really like this song. A lot. But I am very dissapointed that they say "I know it looks bad 'cause I fucked all your girlfriends." Jeez, I am not pleased with Robert's choice in words here. And I guess that that would make the posted lyrics a teensie bit off. According to Rooney's myspace, anyway. (Because that's the version that I'm listening to -- I don't know if the album version has the work "kissed" or what...) |

if you listen to that version, _Bec_, it is clearly by taking back sunday. not fall out boy. i am pretty sure that fall out boy does not do a cover of this. but i guess i could be wrong. |

| i would think that g i n a s f s stands for "gay is not a synonym for stupid" as peter said it in a q&a a while ago. | |
| The Starting Line – Piano Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"her searching was over" really makes it sound like this girl realizes what is going to happen and that she has accepted it. she is clearly very ill and the speaker is concerned. he wants her to be able to come to him for comfort. her family is watching her and they are all in awe of how she is handling the situation. the speaker also says that her life is important and wants her to live. (well, badurr. that's pretty obvious.) this is a wonderful song. kenny's voice is amazing! |
