Piano Song Lyrics
Your life was more than mine,
Like a proud shooting star,
Into the night,
She crashed through the airwaves and ripped like a knife,
It was a bad disease,
Her searching was over, over..
Hold onto the light that guides you,
Hold onto the air that cools you,
Hold on, hold on to me
Her mind steadfast through time,
Her family stood by trying hard not to cry,
With patience and virtue kept strong through the night,
She never fell to her knees,
Her searching was over, over
Hold onto the light that guides you,
Hold onto the air that cools you,
Hold on, hold on to me
And then my eyes stretched out as I saw her hand slip away
Hold onto the light that guides you,
Hold onto the air that cools you,
Hold on, hold on to me
Like a proud shooting star,
Into the night,
She crashed through the airwaves and ripped like a knife,
It was a bad disease,
Her searching was over, over..
Hold onto the air that cools you,
Hold on, hold on to me
Her family stood by trying hard not to cry,
With patience and virtue kept strong through the night,
She never fell to her knees,
Her searching was over, over
Hold onto the air that cools you,
Hold on, hold on to me
Hold onto the air that cools you,
Hold on, hold on to me

I love it! :)
im not sure but is this osng about a girl dying of a horrible illness? and her family watching it happen and how this girl just deals with it so well?
luv this song... wen i downloaded it tho the song was titled hold on. o well i dunno. But still luv it.
This song just tugs at my heart. Great lyrics, and the piano plus the guitar just makes it that much better.
aww so cute
this is so pretty. it reminds me of a gospel song. haha idk.
"her searching was over" really makes it sound like this girl realizes what is going to happen and that she has accepted it. she is clearly very ill and the speaker is concerned. he wants her to be able to come to him for comfort. her family is watching her and they are all in awe of how she is handling the situation.
the speaker also says that her life is important and wants her to live. (well, badurr. that's pretty obvious.)
this is a wonderful song. kenny's voice is amazing!
This song reminds me of the day my great grandmother died. I was standing there right next to her. We were so close and it was so hard to watch. Ever since that happened, this song has a completely new meaning to me. It's still a beautiful song but now it holds a very bittersweet tune.
