He did pick a very popular song.. but its still great.. I definitely wouldn't call it "LAME!" It's always good to have alternative version of famous songs. I'm sure the Killer appreciate it, and if someone hears it they might check out his other songs, so everyone's happy. |

Yeah this song is definitely about Christmas.. Does anyone know if he's religious? The line "And 5 days later we've forgotten the man who saved our souls" hints belief in Jesus. It's very truthful.. the 5 days later when everyone's wasted is talking about New Years (obviously) |

This is an amazing song.. Both Carl & Pete have done their own versions.. each changing the lyrics.. 'tis interesting. The only bit I don't understand is: "You tried to pull the wool, I wasn't feeling too clever" Any ideas, I might be being stupid, I'm not a Libertines addict so I don't know THAT much about their career.. |
