| Masters Of Reality – The Candy Song Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| Cannot believe no one's commented on this gem. It's about an unlucky working man who, after a hard day at work, finds pleasure and comfort in a prostitute – and finds it worth it even though she's expensive. | |
| Enigma – The Child In Us Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I can't believe no one has commented on this song! Going by the lyrics, it can be inferred that the song emphasizes the importance of listening to that innocent little child in us, but personally, I've always ended up imagining stars, galaxies, and the very beginning of time and space while listening to this song. It's simply a brilliant piece of work. | |
| The Housemartins – Happy Hour Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I don't quite care what the song means, because I just love the feel of it. It makes me smile, and that's good enough for me! | |
| Wipers – Nothing Left To Lose Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Quite literally, the song's about falling in love with a familiar-looking stranger. He's telling her to accept him: "You could run away, but what's the use? You're living a deja vu. There's nothing else to do. There's nothing left to lose." | |
| Jimmy Eat World – Authority Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Jimmy Eat World is one of those rare new bands that have the potential to become classics in the future. They have that happy Rock N' Roll spirit, and it's obvious from the quality of their songs, especially this one. I'm not sure what this song means, but it sure as hell makes me smile every time I listen to it. Someone has posted a wonderful live performance of this song on YouTube. | Pearl Jam – Wishlist Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Lyrically, this is one of the most inspiring songs I've heard. Pearl Jam's a great band, and this song is proof enough. This song is as simple as it gets, and it still sound so beautiful. This song is perfect for daydreaming, for slipping into a fantasy world. Picking a favorite line is almost impossible; every line is brilliant. "I wish I was a neutron bomb, for once I could go off" "I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on" "I wish I was an alien at home behind the sun" I wish I was the radio song, the one that you turned on" Pure genius! |

| Freddie Mercury – Living On My Own Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song clearly highlights what Freddie was going through back then (Sigh). But I believe he did extremely to make this song 'sound' like a happy one. Incredible. | |
