This is DEFINITELY my favorite Regina song. She's so vulnerable and her voice is beautiful in this song. My favorite lyrics of this song are:
"Like you might make a dollar.
I'm inside your mouth now,
Behind your tonsils, peeking over your molars...
You're talkin' to HER and NOW..."
Beautiful. I always thought that part meant that she knows what he is doing when he is not with her (kissing, talking). I dont know. Might be wrong, but this song is beautiful whether I know what the hell she's talkin about or not. |

This song is beautiful and I dont know why I'm the first to comment on it. I think she is just trying to say that No One can take important things away from you; things that you treasure; secrets; anything important. Maybe I'm wrong. I never REALLY thought about the MEANING of the song-- I just think it's beautiful. |

I agree with Lilito. On VH1's You Ought To Know: Artists on the Rise, she said that she gets lots of her insparation from literature, and personal experience, so I guess that makes sense, eh? |

I absolutely LOVE this song. It's one of my favorite Regina Spektor songs. I can't wait to hear the recorded version. I love the lyrics. I think that, in this song, she's singing about being in high school, and asking an old boyfriend for forgiveness. ("Loveology, loveology, I'm-sorry-ology, forgive-me-ology") |
