This is one of my favorite ryche songs, i like how the song builds up to the end and Geoff scream "'Cause you've never seen them so black". Great Song! anyone else agree, i thought there would be lots of comment on this particular song since RAge For Order kicks ass |

| The Clash – Lover's Rock Lyrics

"When she forgot that thing that she had to swallow"
Could that mean her Pride?
maybe joe is talking about a guy and a girl out at lovers peak and she faces the decision if she truley wants to lose it to some jock who all he wants is some tang...
"You Western man, you're free with your seed"
Could mean that us guys dont really have to worry about commitment, and risk getting pregnant like a woman do. Since we can easily take the high road after we are done. so maybe she realize shes putting more on the table than he is and in the end she dosnt need to swallow her pride because she knew better than to even be with the jock.
"thats what they call it, they call it lovers rock"
maybe this is said in spite to all those who think they are in love and set themselves in an emotion trap later on thats why its "ridiculous" |

| Bad Religion – Leave Mine to Me Lyrics

even though you try not to be we are of the same plague- i really like this line along with the last two (
you create your own reality,
and leave mine to me ) We are already different as it is, damm people running around screaming individuallity when they dont have to because they already have some kind of identity.
We should focus a bit more on how similar we all are rather then trying to be an individual. "and how we come to terms will help us pull through"
We are fighting a war on two fronts, one over seas and the other at home
remember the most important kind of respect out there is SELF-Respect, apply it to your life in anyway just dont forget it |

damm this song is so damm powerful, just like the entire empire album. I agree with you Jules, it is "disheartening" to see a limited law enforcement. Some cops are assholes though (as if they didnt have anything to do) i just got out of wreslting practice and we were giving my friend some company while his mom came to pick him up and bam! as if out of sky ,a cop car flashes its lights on us and two cops come out to ask us what we are doing?they check a pole that we were standing by because occording to the dumbass officer, "it lookedlike we were tagging."i know it was their best intention but what kind of force is this? in some wierd way im kinda glad they cant operate to there full pitential because that would mean i would have the cops on my ass all the time (im no crook either but this is not the first time cops mistakenly act under false pretenses) |

when we saw them open for priest geoff said somthing about "when your running and a big pile of shit falls in your way and you turn around and another pile of shit blocks your path, you dive in that shit with your head down and keep going" Dont Give Up! is basically what it is, your desire for somthing can do push you beyond your known limits |

this song gives me hope of humanity one day comming to an understanding that we are pushing our existance to a grand test that we may never recover from. Great song, not just because of the kickass solo but also the emotion that gets across to the listener. Assuming the listener is listening lol. This song by far stands out to me the most on this particular album. last year in 11th grade we had an assignment to present a song to the class and i chose Consequences, unfortunatly nobody cared or listened closely, only my teacher, she said it was a beautiful song :) which made it worth it. nearing in 2007 and all thats on the news is hate and war and dumbass shows that require people to turn off their brains, lets hope for a better year |
