I've known about this song way before Anchorman but I have to say, Anchorman did make it pretty funny. I love the videp for it when Ron (aka Will Ferrel) chokes on the spray cheese that Veronica (aka Christina Applegate) sprays into his mouth when they're picnicking @ the park and she just leaves him for dead. Wow the drug thing kinda killed the romanticness for me. Awesome. lol But eitherway, when i first heard this song I did think it was a little possessive, but I also was talking to my future boyfriend over aim and we were complaining about being cold when "If you're cold, I'll keep you warm" came on, and my heart melted. Even if its about drugs, or a posessive girlfriend...its beautiful and makes me think of him. "I will be your safety." |

It may sound cheesy but when I hear this song I think of Barbados where I truly think I experienced Nirvana. I've always had a connection to nature and especially the sea...like in a past life I was some form of animal in a topical place...so when i went to Barbados with is crystal clear water and I swam with sea turtles I felt as if I was back where I should belong... This song makes me think of when I first started going out with my boyfriend. I'm super shy around him even though I want to tell him that I really do love him. I agree w Novartza on the idea that her boyfriend is unsure whether she really loves him or not, but she really does. It seems to me like this this is almost internal dialogue, like this is what shes thinking. But i always think about this when my boyfriend holds me...the closer w get the better I really do feel...even if we're both a little nervous, but thats ok. |

I think the meaning of this song is pretty obvious...he tried to forget this girl but she was everywhere around him...walking beside him...at his sice in bed (all in his mind of course) the lyrics are beautiful...I had always loved "Sleeping in my bed with your sillhuoete" I didnt really know how true it could be until I started going out with my boyfriend and I slept over my friends house with him...The feeling of someone with you while you sleep is truly wonderful. I put the lyrics in my buddy info and he said: "I remember when I first saw that last line - sleeping with your silhouette.
