Just recently re-discovered the song after loving it when it first came out in the 80's. A great song!
Various sources have stated its about Thatcher's government (spit spit) but regardless it remains a classic (to me anyway!) |

'Do you need a woman to look after you?' - What a fab line?! Could it get better?! My take on this song and this line is that its done in a sort of humourous way. Maybe its Tori's use of irony? Maybe she's also challenging the idea that women are carers and look after men? |

really if people get offended at Morrissey's music - one simple suggestion - don't listen to it!
