ok i'm going along with the presnence theory as well. but, instead of making it sound like aliens or hallucinations it might be God. especially since people not under parepin effect have seen the presence. now, this may be part of the whole church thing as well. God (possibly GodS since it says OUR eyes) is comign down to see our wrong ways. im not exactly sure but either than parepin effects this is the only thing i can come up with, cuz i dont think its aliens. |

the way i c it, and the way my girlfriend sees it as well is, when youre just seperated from them in any way, whether its by country or just by a few blocks.. like my girlfriend told me she felt this way when i went on a summer vacation.. so basically whether youre together, split, or not together yet, its just about loving someone and missing them. and the only reason i ever heard of this song is cuz of my girlfriend lol |

i dont think it means Goerge Bush. ok sure literal sense yes he is. you'd be a fool to disagree. but if go with the Year Zero concept, hes not making reference to Bush because this is in 2022, Bush will hopefully be assassinated by then lol. so i'm thinking this may mean government or God with a capital possibly meaning that that is the TRUE god possibly the Presence. due to the fact he said "my god" not THE god which later is portrayed in the next line. this is just my own view, and im not evaluating it with the rest of the album as i should be so dont be a fick about me being a dumbass or wrong. |

i think this song is about religion mostly since in the first it describes how she says a prayer but faith never paid the rent in a sense that it's like we ask god for all this help and strength but he ignores us.. which leads to the chorus "i know you're barely listening" and then the second verse is like god runs away from our problems leaving it all up to us and kinda abandoning us in a way that makes you think god is laughing at you thinking that he will help you. at least from mypoint of view |

ok for those calling the columbine kids nazis youre an idiot.. one of them JEWSIH.
